Our staff, is highly qualified and experienced, operates under quality welds and qualifying welders for steel and steel alloys conforming to the UNI EN 287-1 2004.

Being always in close collaboration with leading certification authorities, we are able to offer you on request the following certifications:

• CSC certification for maritime transport issued by a certifying authority
• PED and ATEX Certification
• Certification of reaction to fire A0, A1, A30, A60, H60, H120

EN-1090: In May 2025, we obtained EN-1090 certification, attesting to the quality and compliance of our metal structures with European standards.

WELDING

Current regulations, both European (EN ISO) and international (ASME, AWS), require companies and their technical staff to obtain specific qualifications for Welding Processes.

Over the years, FaMar has obtained the following qualifications:

WELDING PROCEDURES:

• UNI EN ISO 15614: Specification and qualification of welding procedures for metallic materials - Qualification tests of the welding procedure.
• AWS D1.1: Specification and qualification of welding procedures according to the American code "AWS American Welding Society"
• ISO3834: In May 2025 we obtained ISO-3834 certification attesting to the excellence of our welding processes

QUALIFICATION OF THE WELDING STAFF:

• UNI EN ISO 9606-1: Qualification tests for welders - Fusion welding
• AWS D1.1: Specification and qualification of welders and welding operators according to the American code "AWS American Welding Society"
